Terms of Service

Last updated May 2, 2026

These terms govern your use of speechcraft. By placing an order or using a delivered speech, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

speechcraft is a self-serve tool that turns the anecdotes you supply about the person or moment you’re speaking about into a personalized speech (text + printable PDF). You pick an occasion, your role, and 3–8 anecdotes; we draft a speech tuned for spoken delivery, render it as a PDF, and email it to you.

2. No warranty about how the speech lands

speechcraft does not guarantee that the audience will react a particular way to your speech, nor that the speech will be the right vehicle for your event. The output is based entirely on the anecdotes you submit. We do not independently verify them and we do not insert anecdotes you did not supply.

3. Your submissions

You represent that the anecdotes you submit are about a person you know and that you have the right to use those anecdotes in a speech you intend to deliver. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information, payment card numbers outside Stripe Checkout, or third-party confidential material you are not authorized to share.

4. Pricing, delivery, and refunds

The current listed price for one speech is $7 unless a different price is shown at checkout. Delivery normally occurs through the order page and a delivery email after payment clears, typically within a minute.

You may request a full refund within 24 hours through the one-click refund button on the order page. Refund processing is automated through Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days. After the refund window closes, refunds are discretionary except where non-waivable law requires otherwise.

5. AI limitations

The service uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. The speech is generated from the anecdotes you supply, with a prompt engineered to refuse to invent details. Outputs can still be awkward, miss the mark, or feel unfamiliar in your voice. You should read the speech aloud once before the event and use the alternate openers and closers we provide if any line doesn’t fit.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use speechcraft to harass, dox, impersonate, or harm the person the speech is about or the audience. Do not submit anecdotes you know to be false and intended to deceive listeners. Do not use the service to violate the law.

7. License to output

Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, you may read, print, share, and otherwise use the delivered speech for personal, non-commercial use at your event. We retain all rights in the service itself, including the site, prompts, software, and operating methods.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, speechcraft is provided “as is” without warranties, and our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
